A new generation landscape company. Our services encompass the design and construction of new gardens and the renovation and reworking of existing gardens. Based in Herefordshire, we undertake creative maintenance and development of gardens, continuously tweaking them to ensure they bring joy every day of the year. To create enchanting and rich outdoor spaces, being on-site is irreplaceable. Gardens are dynamic and evolving spaces meant for being lived in.

IKG creates gardens with a wide-ranging palette, encompassing formal, informal, cottage, contemporary styles, and mostly, gardens that fit no category at all!! Kitchen gardens, terraces, ponds, borders, driveways, and meadows and much more. We undertake projects of all sizes- courtyards to estates. Making gardens is, so often, intuitive requiring constant tweaking and adjusting, as they are living, changing entities. Sometimes gardens only require minimal adjustments; it can simply be a matter of rearranging what already exists or working creatively with the elements on-site.

We enjoy integrating the 'already-there' elements into our new garden designs, as full redesigns are not always necessary or appropriate. Instead, careful curation and reworking of the space can create exceptionally comfortable areas with a significantly reduced financial and environmental impact. We embrace the management of water as a valuable asset for a garden and ensure that our designs are adaptable and resilient to everyday life.

We combine the latest regulations and British Standards with a sensitive interpretation of both new and existing materials to produce well-built, long-lasting gardens. IKG can specify and install garden lighting, where necessary, that is appropriate for the space and intuitive in its function. Our commitment to garden maintenance includes making gardens as climate change-resilient as possible, often aiming to utilise rainwater as a subtle part of the design. Our schemes frequently incorporate gravel, permeable surfaces, and generous planting areas to ensure a pleasing, year-round outdoor experience.
